The LightOptics LO-HPSF-1G-5S3-20L -SFP BiDi 1Gbps Tx 1550nm Rx 1310nm LC SMF DDM 20km for HP/Aruba optical module supports single mode WDM fiber (simplex transmission over a single fiber), transmitting data at speeds up to 1Gbps, maximum distance up to 20km. TX transmitter - 1550nm laser, RX receiver - 1310nm. LC/UPC optical connector.
The module operates in pair with an SFP TX1310nm/RX1550nm transceiver e.g.: LO-HPSF-1G-3S5-20L
For connection over a single fiber (1J), the wavelength of the transmitter is cross-selected, so that the TX value from one side corresponds to the RX value on the other side. For easier identification, the handles of the transceivers are labelled with different colors, for example blue and green, blue and yellow, blue and violet.
The transceivers support the WDM technology, which provides bidirectional (Bi-Di) transmission over one single-mode 9/125μm optical fiber and operate on two different wavelengths: 1310nm and 1550nm.

Applicable to HP and Aruba switches
LightOptics SFP 1000Base-BX modules are versatile and work reliably at distances of up to 20km but also on very short links. You can connect them with a patch cable as short as 1m without fear of damaging the laser, thanks to the special design of the receiving diode.
