The INDUSTRIAL LightOptics LO-SF-100M-3S5-20I -SFP BiDi 100Mb Tx 1310nm Rx 1550nm LC SMF DDM 20km optical module supports single mode WDM fiber (simplex transmission over a single fiber), transmitting data at speeds 100Mbps, maximum distance up to 20km. TX transmitter – DFB 1310nm laser, RX receiver – PIN photodetector 1550nm. LC/UPC optical connector.

For connection over a single fiber (1J), the wavelength of the transmitter is cross-selected, so that the TX value from one side corresponds to the RX value on the other side. For easier identification, the handles of the transceivers are labelled with different colors, for example blue and green, blue and yellow, blue and violet.

The transceivers support the WDM technology, which provides bidirectional (Bi-Di) transmission over one single-mode 9/125μm optical fiber and operate on two different wavelengths: 1310nm and 1550nm.

The DDM diagnostic module enables real time monitoring of the operating parameters of your transceiver, for example, the input and output optical power, temperature, voltage or current. Be in control over your network and prevent malfunctions thanks to quick and easy diagnosis of the network, with no additional equipment needed.   

To get access to the DDM diagnostics, both the transceiver and the device must possess the DDM function, sometimes called DOM (nearly all managed devices are equipped with this function).
