SFP 1000BASE-SX DDM 850nm LC MMF 550m for HP/Aruba

SFP SX Module

The SFP 1000Base-SX module transmits data over two multimode fibers (MM) with maximum data rate of up to 1.25 Gbps. It operates on a TX 850 nm wavelength and has an LC/UPC duplex optical connector. It is compliant with the MSA (Multi-Source Agreement).

The module can transmit data for distances of up to 500 m, but it can be used for links as short as 1 m, without the risk of damaging the laser.

Applicable to HP and Aruba switches as an alternative to the J4858D transceiver.
