CWDM (DEMUX) demultiplexer is a passive optical device (it does not require a power source), used in WDM networks. Its main purpose is increasing the capacity of already-existing fiber optic infrastructure by allowing transmission over many channels (wavelengths) within a single optical fiber.
LightOptics LO-CDS-040-LCU-2733-NL is a 4-channel demultiplexer, suitable for 1-fiber CWDM application. It is based on band-pass filter technology and operates on channels located with 20nm spacing, according to the CWDM ITU Grid, with wavelengths ranging from 1270nm to 1330nm. Thanks to the LGX chassis, it can be easily mounted.
