Optical Multiplexer CWDM 18 channel SC/APC ABS Box

A CWDM multiplexer (MUX) is a passive optical device (requiring no power) used in WDM networks. It provides the flexibility to expand the capacity of existing fiber optic infrastructure by enabling the transmission of multiple channels (wavelengths) over the same optical fiber. CWDM MUX devices are available in 8-channel and 18-channel configurations. LightOpics modules utilize wavelengths within the ITU-T G.694.2 CWDM grid standard of 1470 nm to 1610 nm (8 channels) and 1270 nm to 1610 nm (18 channels) with a 20 nm spacing. The multiplexers are available in 1U 19" rack formats, ABS BoX and LGX. Their primary applications are Ethernet networks, both 1GbE and 10GbE. Supported channels: 1270, 1290, 1310, 1330, 1350, 1370, 1390, 1410, 1430, 1450, 1470, 1490, 1510, 1530, 1550, 1570, 1590, 1610nm.
