LightBoard - mobile programmer for LightOptics SFP, SFP+, XFP, SFP28, QSFP+ 40G, QSFP28 100G optical modules.

With the LightBoard programmer model LB 2 from the manufacturer LightOptics, you can program and reprogram optical modules and DAC cables ONLY from the manufacturer LightOptics.

How does the programmer work ?

Lightboard allows changing the compatibility of LightOptics manufacturer's optical modules, ensuring that they work with almost any equipment vendor. It allows you to adapt SFP, SFP+, SFP28, QSFP+, QSFP28 and DAC transceivers to various network devices such as switches, converters, network/server cards, etc. All you need to do is connect the module to the programmer, select the appropriate settings and you're done! The process is simple and fast, so even people without specialized knowledge can use it.

Basic Functions of Insert Programmer (transceivers):

• Programming fiber optic modules to work with equipment from manufacturers such as Alcatel, Allied Telesis, Broadcom, Cisco, DCN, Dell, D-Link, Extreme Networks, Fortinet, Hirschmann, Huawei, Intel, Juniper, Mellanox, Mikrotik, Moxa, Netgear, Palo Alto, QNAP, TP-Link, Ubiquiti, ZTE, Zyxel, among others, and other network equipment prodcents.

Each end of the cable is programmed individually, so the DAC cable can be used to connect devices (switches, server cards) from different manufacturers, e.g. Cisco with Huawei, Mikrotik with Intel, Dell with QNAP, Mellanox with Juniper, etc
• Multiple optical module programming. SFP+ 10G LR module programmed today to Juniper tomorrow can be reprogrammed to MikroTik and reapplied in the next link.
• Checking what manufacturer the cartridge has been programmed to,
• Configuration from a computer or phone with Android or IOS thanks to the app eLO SFP
  (The eLO SFP app can be downloaded from the Attachments section or the Play Store and App Store.Install the eLO SFP app on your phone, use the phone's camera to scan the barcode. The app will tell you what manufacturer the fiber optic insert is programmed for)

Quick Start Guide:

1. Download and install the programmer's application from the official website on an Internet-enabled computer.
2. Connect the programmer to a power source.
3. Attach the programmer to the computer using a USB cable or connect via wireless technology.
4. Turn on the programmer and start the installed application.
5. Insert the module and wait about 30 seconds for the device to recognize it.
6. Select the software from the list, choosing the manufacturer where the module will be installed.
7. Press the “WRITE” button and wait until the process completes (100%).
8. Verify that the module functions correctly within the switch.
