The SFP 1000Base-BX transceiver
The 1G BiDi SFP optical module is designed for data transmission using a single single-mode (SM) fiber. It transmits data at speeds of up to 1.25 Gbps, over distances of up to 20 km. It operates at TX 1550 nm/ RX 1310 nm wavelength and has SC/UPC duplex optical connector type. Compliant with SFP MSA standard.
We program the transceivers before shipment to work with any manufacturer of switch, converter, server card. If you did not find the name of the manufacturer in the list, select the "Other" option at the end of the list.
Universal module, working reliably at distances up to 20 km, but also on very short, 1-meter lines. You don't have to worry about the insertion laser being damaged, thanks to the appropriately designed receiving diode, which is resistant even to long-distance lasers.
Example application of SFP BiDi with SC-type optical connector
BiDi transceivers always work in a pair, where the wavelengths are matched crosswise so that the wavelength of the transceiver's TX transmitter on one side corresponds to the transceiver's RX receiver on the other side, analogous to the picture above. The matching module for LO-SF-1G-5S3-20S is: LO-SF-1G-3S5-20S.
