With bidirectional transmission technology at different wavelengths (Transmitter Tx 1330nm, Receiver Rx 1270nm) on a single fiber, this module maximizes the use of existing fiber infrastructure. When implementing a BiDi connection on a single fiber, we do not use two transceivers that are the same, the wavelengths of the transceivers are selected crosswise, so that the wavelength of the TX transmitter of the module on one side corresponds to the RX receiver of the module on the other side.
The transceiver s operate with WDM (Bi-Di) technology to provide bidirectional 8G transmission on a single fiber of 9/125μm single-mode fiber, use light of two different wavelengths, i.e. 1270 nm and 1330 nm.
