XFPs are devices that work with single- or multimode fiber, and support bit rates from 9.95 Gbps to 11.1 Gbps. They transmit data over a pair of fibers (duplex) or over a single fiber (simplex), as well as in CWDM / DWDM technology.
The 10G XFP SR optical module
The XFP 10GBASE-SR optical module is designed for data transmission over two multimode fibers (MMF). It provides speeds of up to 10 Gbps over distances of up to 300 m. It operates at a wavelength of 850 nm. It is equipped with an LC/UPC duplex interface for fast and secure connection to network infrastructure. Compatible with the MSA standard.

Thanks to VCSEL (Vertical-Cavity Surface-Emitting Laser) technology and a PIN detector, this module provides stable and reliable data transmission over distances of up to 300 meters, as well as short 1-meter connections. You don't have to worry about laser damage, as it has a properly designed receiving diode resistant to long-range lasers. Thus, it provides fast and reliable connection in local networks, data centers and telecommunications applications.
The module supports the DDM (Digital Diagnostic Monitoring) function, which enables monitoring of parameters such as temperature, supply voltage, optical power and laser bias current to help proactively manage and diagnose potential problems.
