MPO-MPO (12j) patch cords for 40G and 100G transceivers

Fiber optic multimode patch cord made of 12 cross-over OM4-type fibers with extra low insertion loss. MPO/UPC Female optical connectors on both ends. Teal-colored LSZH-type coating, 3mm thickness. 

Cables are equipped with special crossed-over fibers, necessery for connections between two optical trasceivers with MPO 12j connectors. Fibers are crossed in order to match the transmitting diodes from one side to the receiving diodes on the other side.

Application:

Patch cord suitable for direct connection over short distances between optical modules with an MPO/UPC 12j slot, for example:

• Connection between QSFP+ 40G SR4 optical modules with MPO/UPC, e.g. LO-QSP-40G-SR4
• Connection between QSFP+ 40G eSR4 optical modules with MPO/UPC
• Connection between QSFP+ 100G SR4 optical modules with MPO, e.g. LO-QSP28-100G-SR4

Multimode SR4-type 40Gbps and 100Gbps transceivers differ from their counterparts with lesser bit rates in that they don't use just one laser and one diode, but require 4 lasers and 8 optical fibers for data transmission. They are equipped with an MPO connectors with 12 fibers of which only 8 are used, because only 4 channels are transmitted (4x10Gbps for 40G transceivers, and 4x25Gbps for 100G transceivers).
