A BiDi connection, characterized by bidirectional transmission over a single simplex fiber optic cable, always requires a corresponding transceiver for the pair on the other side of the connection. The LO-HPSP-10G-2S3-20 transceiver works in tandem with the LO-HPSP-10G-3S2-20.
