DAC 25G SFP28 2m cable is an efficient and cost-effective solution for short-distance data transmission. It is ideal for use in modern data centers and server rooms. This passive copper cable offers reliable data transfer at speeds of up to 25 Gbps over a distance of 2m. Our range of DAC 25G cables also includes lengths from 1m to 5m.
Direct Attach Copper (DAC) technology means a direct connection without the need for optical signal conversion. In other words, data transfer is carried out via an electrical signal over copper cable between two QSFP28 modules. This enables a significant reduction in installation costs, and also minimizes transmission delays compared to fiber optic solutions. In addition, the lack of need to use lasers for optical transmission translates into significant energy savings.
Compatibility with the SFP28 MSA standard ensures easy integration with any network devices. Each end of the DAC cable is individually encoded prior to shipment, making it possible to connect devices from different vendors. Self-coding of our transceivers under different manufacturers is made possible by the LightBoard programmer, sold separately. If the DAC cables will be installed in a server, please select the manufacturer of the network card, not the server, on your order.
