ABOUT THE SFP+ LR TRANCEIVER

The SFP+ WDM 10GBase-BX transceiver supports single-mode transmission and data rate up to 10,3 GBps with maximum link distance of 10km. It operates on TX 1310nm wavelength, and has an LC/UPC simplex optical connector. Used optics: VSCEL laser, PIN receiving diode.

For connection over a single fiber (1J) the wavelength of the transceiver is cross-selected so that the wavelength of the transmitter’s TX transceiver from one side corresponds to the RX transmitter of the receiver. For easier identification, the levers of transceivers are labelled with different colors, for example blue and green, blue and yellow, blue and violet.

The WDM (Bi-Di) technology allows bidirectional 10G transmission over a single 9/125μm fiber, operating on two different wavelengths: 1270 nm and 1330 nm.

Diagnostics of your Network

The DDM diagnostic module allows you to monitor in real time the transceiver’s operating parameters: input and output optical power, temperature, voltage and current. You have basic control over your network and can prevent malfunctions thanks to fast diagnosis of the optical network, no additional equipment needed.

To get access to the DDM diagnostics, both the transceiver and the device must possess the DDM function, sometimes called DOM (nearly all managed devices are equipped with this function).
