INDUSTRIAL SFP (-40+85C)
SFP Transceivers (Small Form-Factor Pluggable) are optical transceivers supporting data rates of 100Mb, 1Gb or 2Gb, while higher bandwidths (4Gb, 8Gb,16Gb and 32Gb) are supported by SFP+ modules.
They are produced according to the Multi-Source Agreement (SFF-8472 specifications) and compliant with electric and electromagnetic standards.
What is an SFP? It is a module that consists of a transmitter and a receiver that is used to change optical signal to electric and vice versa. It connects the main board of the switch, router, HBA card or media converter with the fiber optic or copper cable.
Application
Industrial standard transceivers work in extended temperature range and can be with networking equipment optimalized for industrial conditions (e.g. industrial switches).
